A cross an open field west of you is SQUAD 2 that is doing the same. You are with your Squad defending a section of some wooded area. Just to have a tank seconds later come driving through half of the map just to help you out by putting some shells and tracers into the woods. It's nothing like beeing under suppressing fire and you do a call out in command chat just to hear a Tank commander answer you back: We got you! Just hang tight! I am no person that NEED to be in combat for 90% of a round to have fun but can have the same great experience sitting in a bush and calling out information to my SL and then hear him forward that information to other SL,s and see the map react to the information. I have both games but I enjoy Post Scriptum so much more. HLL I would say is for the people that want more action faster with less down time in between combat engagements and less focus on real life tactical thinking and movements where the focus is on where every soldier always will see a "big battle" and where no one have to wonder where the combat is at any given time. Creating complex movements and tactics like cutting off reinforcements lanes / Running 5 min in the complete opposite way of where the combat is to perform a perfect out flank/ complex pincer move or tactical fall back,s. It's more about helping out the team even if you are never in a big combat situation yourself. The people playing PS I would say are people that dont have a problem crawling through a forest or town for 15 min and sometimes just get into a real big combat the last 10 min of a 1h game. HLL is a Red Orchestra / Battlefield on Hardcore mode style of game with a more arcady feeling.

HLL - Faster gameplay, Not as tactical and more Arcady with less teamwork, Everything play out on much smaller maps then PS that funnel you down a special direction towards the enemy from the start without any real free thinking of movements. It also have a steeper learning curve and bigger maps where the combat is usually never funnelled down a special lane but more often then not ends in a complete 360 engagement because the maps are so big. PS - Slower ww2 experience with focus on more teamwork and communication with slower gameplay overall and with more time going between combat engagements.
